Idaho Operations
DIN – SLR
📍 Bear Lake County, Idaho • Near Montpelier
A high-capacity irrigated property near Bear Lake featuring advanced fodder production technology—positioned to become DIN's most intensive regenerative production site with year-round feed capability and massive livestock capacity.
The Property
SLR Ranch sits in the heart of Bear Lake Valley near Montpelier, Idaho—a region with deep agricultural heritage now facing pressure from tourism development. Unlike the hilly terrain of Elkhorn Ranch, SLR offers relatively flat topography ideal for broad-scale regenerative agriculture and intensive food production.
What makes SLR unique is its combination of significant irrigated acreage, expansion-ready water rights, and an operational HydroGreen fodder system capable of producing 5-6 tons of fresh feed daily. This technology—rare in regenerative operations—enables year-round feed production independent of weather or season.
This is a Regenerative Operations site—DIN will lease this property through a long-term agreement, demonstrating intensive regenerative production while developing sustainable revenue streams through livestock, feed production, and value-added products.
HydroGreen Fodder System
SLR's operational HydroGreen system produces 10,000-12,000 lbs of fresh fodder daily—enough to support significant livestock operations year-round, independent of weather or season. This technology transforms how regenerative operations can function, enabling consistent nutrition and reducing hay dependency.
